This has got to be one of the best fish and chips we have ever had. Fish freshly cooked, so a little wait, but so worth it. We would definitely recommend to anybody staying local to try.
Read the reviews as wanted a decent fish n chip shop as staying locally for birthday treat. Very disappointed with the cod that had 4 long bones in, was quite small as well. Never had bones from chip shop before! Also the curry sauce was lumpy. Only positive was the chips and service.
I went here this evening to order 2 fish and 1 chips. After placing my order, I was left waiting 20 mins before someone noticed I hadn’t been given my food. This is fine, human error and all that but no one apologised? I was then given my food only to return home to an incorrect order. I called to complain only to be asked if I wanted it added to “rewards” or to go back and collect it. As it was our dinner I returned and even still I got no apology! A young lad served me and found out why I was there even tho I had been there 5 minutes prior. The chaps at the back which I assume is one of the owners simply looked at me and did or said nothing! You were extremely busy which I appreciate but a simple apology goes along way as does customer service. I lost out on eating with my family as I had to return and to top it all off the food was over cooked and dry so wasn’t even worth the hassle! I will not be returning
Great fish & chips ,lovely to be able to get them without the skin.lovely staff, they state on the app with or without the skin for cod but not haddock, maybe this wants altering for ordering purposes. Thank you.Dennis.Food: 5/5
Very clean, fish and chips are nice, plenty of choice, be prepared to wait even if you have phoned in your order as it still may not be ready as agreed time.

Cooked to order, generous portions, delicious and reasonably priced. 1st time using for fish and chips since moving to the area. We will definitely return!
