We specialise in exceptional quality British made wood and multi-fuel stoves. We are a Clearview Stoves agent and are also a Charnwood Stoves Premier Dealership.

We have the largest dedicated stove showroom in the North West and Peak Disrict with well over 50 stoves on display and several under fire. We stock a large range of DEFRA approved appliances which means wood, as well as smokeless fuels can be burnt in smoke controlled areas.

We have a large parking area at the rear entrance and a well stocked warehouse so we can normally supply your stove and flue liner, pipe, chimney pots and cowls immediately. Please contact our friendly team for availability.

We have been so fortunate to choose our stoves from The Fire Place. Amanda has a great deal of knowledge when it comes to anything to do with wood burning stoves and the accessories they also sell are incredible. We also purchased an Everhot electric stove from The Fire Place and couldn’t have been happier with the advice we received and the follow up on our purchase. If you're looking at purchasing a stove or log burner in the High Peak, this is the place to go. The shop itself has a brilliant selection and every fireplace accessory you could ever need. On a personal note, Amanda really looks after her customers and her fitter Dan went above and beyond to get our stove installed and working perfectly. We are so pleased with it! Thanks again.

Top quality service from start to finish. Amanda was very helpful when picking out a stove and then Greg and his team were the best installers you could ask for. The whole process was stress, and most importantly, mess free and the finished result is better than I could have anticipated. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Recently bought a Dunsley 500 stove from here. Excellent service from start to finish. Firstly, it's a lovely shop with lots of choice, and Amanda was really friendly and helpful at providing advice for what we should choose. Their recommended fitter came to survey 2 days later, and luckily they had a free slot for installation the next day. The installation took about 3 hours, and they guys did a great job, and they were also very friendly whilst leaving everything inside and outside clean and tidy. A great stress free experience. Thanks!

Excellent service . Highly recommend.  Excellent communication.  And always keeping you updated I had a hole in my chimney . Not a problem ! Fixed in minutes . Very happy customer.

Amanda has been absolutely fab. She was so helpful whilst we were picking everything out. I was very indecisive and Amanda was so patient and knowledgeable. We had shopped around and no one compared to Amanda and The Fire Place, it was a no-brainer to go with them. Greg and co fitted the fireplace and we are very happy with their work. They went above and beyond to sort out a wrong part that was delivered and to make sure we had a fire ready for Christmas. We love our new fireplace!

I had no idea such a fantastic showroom was right on our doorstep. The range of fires and accessories is fab and the owners were great at sharing advice and talking me through some of the key considerations. A lovely balance between leaving me to have a nosey around the shop and being on hand to offer advice when I needed it. Friendly and knowledgeable, would highly recommend!

We recently moved into a new house and decided to have a stove fitted. We had no idea where to start when it came to picking a stove and the installation of it.
