Run by a lovely man with a real belief in a local store for the local community. God knows it's an uphill battle positioned in the Garden Grabbers' paradise of Felbridge. A place now largely populated by semi articulate commuters for whom the concept of "community" appears totally alien. Like the local pub and post office, the local shop is one of the fast disappearing threads that hold together the fabric of society. When they are gone they are gone forever. Then you'll realise that saving a few quid at the supermarket isn't such a great deal and that a million "friends" on Facebook isn't worth as much as a smile and a conversation with just one real person.
