Went for Saturday brunch with three friends last week, was very happy with the service received. Did a 'create your own' breakfast which worked out better value for money than the set meals. Waiting time was reasonable considering how busy it was. There was a small mistake with my order but it was rectified quickly. The portions sizes are good and the midi potatoes were my personal favourite component. Make sure you try them, you won't regret it. Overall very satisfied with my experience, my only note would be have bottles of sauce rather than packets, which can be a bit fiddly. :)

If you want a quick coffee stop on a cycle ride, try elsewhere. Service was not with a smile, the long queue didn't help. Not been somewhere stipulating a £5 minimum card spend for a while. At least some of the coffee was in the cup.

The food is above average cafe fare but the service lets it down. The sausages were bready and tasteless  They made up for me not wanting beans by doubling up the tomato, which made the meal almost half tomato, which was too much.  But it's the service that lets this cafe down. It's counter service only so no matter where you are in your meal, you have to go to the counter to order. This is OK if you're just starting but if you want to order a coffee half way through your meal, you have to leave it to go cold while you queue at the counter.  I ordered a flapjack for desert and after waiting too long for it to arrive, I had to return to the counter to remind them. 
Proper table service would make this a much better experience.

I would highly recommend eating here. All food is cooked fresh and I've never been disappointed. So much to choose from.
