Excellent Sunday lunch, you continue to provide amazingly tasty food and wine, with exemplary service in a lovely environment. Our daughter realised that she might not be in time, and we deliberated between being late or cancelling her seat, but you were very accommodating. Thank you to the whole team for providing such high standards all round.
Stayed here for one night after being invited to a friends birthday in town, sadly didn’t have time to eat an evening meal but the small plates menu looked great. The room was lovely, everything you’d hope for for a short stay in a county pub. Complementary espresso martinis in the room, comfortable bed, clean and tidy. The real highlight was the staff who were so friendly but not over baring. Clearly passionate about what they do which comes through in the service they give. Good breakfast in the morning as well. All for such a reasonable price!

Food was absolute quality, impossible to fault. Was a bit expensive but honestly still worth the money. Not a regular pub where everything is just microwaved. Feels far more like a high end restaurant. Food & drinks: Food Amazing, drinks higher value brands. This isn't cheep and cheerful, it is luxury. Parking: Open ground car park, nothing to pay, park, lock and go dine.
Stayed one night and had dinner .great food not your usual it's a small plate restaurant a great experience. excellent wine's and the staff are great. the rooms are very comfortable .excellent stay and close to StamfordRooms: 5/5
Amazing food & fantastic service from our waiter, were really sad that the place is closing down on the 28th May were happy we got to have one final meal.Service: 5/5
Truly excellent. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Very interesting wine selection. No rush, laid back, no push to get the table back. I hesitate to call it tapas style, it's plate sharing at an incredibly high standard. Nearly every dish perfect and memorable. It's not cheap and it shouldn't be. It is very good value for original creative food.
If you’re looking for a real treat with exceptional food, impeccable service then look no further. The team here have created a real gem and the perfect place for somewhere special. Outstanding food, gorgeous cocktails and the waiting team are so knowledgable and professional. Thanks for a great evening!
