Mother’s day lunch at The Earl Haig was a complete delight. Steve and his team were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. We were a table of 13. All the food came out together and was piping hot and delicious. We were made to feel very welcome and the atmosphere was both friendly and relaxed. Everyone had the very best of times. We would recommend this pub to all our friends and anyone looking for a great venue that served fabulous food. We will definitely be returning soon. Les and Elaine.

We went to The Earl Haig yesterday for Mother's Day; myself and my parents. A really great experience. Such a nice pub as it is clean and tidy. The staff are super friendly and efficient: no waiting to get served. The food we had was delicious and fantastic value for money. The other people drinking in the pub are friendly and polite too. The manager, a chap named Steve goes out of his way. He is so friendly and welcoming and you can see he really cares that people have a positive experience and enjoy themselves. Checking in on people without being intrusive. Will definitely be visiting about and wouldn't hesitate to reccomend.

A lovely setting, with a log fire burning in the entrance, modern surroundings and friendly staff. Unfortunately, ordered a bottle of wine, which the bar person said they would bring to the table, however, 20 minutes later we had to get ourselves. When our food order arrived the fish was fried to cinders; so it was more batter & chips! Good recovery as they did accept return and brought a fresh order. It was a very cold day, pity the inviting fire was at the entrance and all the radiators were switched off!

Superb food, excellent value. Totally love the baked camembert. Good range of alcohol free drinks. Lovely atmosphere
