I came here a few years ago and had a really weird experience. My latest visit was completely different and so much better. Friendly staff, friendly customers, nice beer garden and a good pint at a reasonable price. Couldn't ask for more.

Nice room, nice bar and garden. Friendly welcome, polite and professional. Handy for the Valley restaurant which was our dinner destination and back for a pint after that. All went well and a good breakfast to start the day. Highly recommended.

We went for lunch checking on the website that the place was open and serving food.. the info was incorrect the y do not serve lunch on the day we went. Pet peeve are places that do not update the website. Great location. Lovely outside spaces just no idea of what food is like as only got a drink.

Popped in for a bite to eat, when ordering our drinks at the bar I asked the bar man if I ordered food at the bar of which he told me yes.nWe looked at the menu whilst drinking our pints but when we went to order that food he told us they had no food left, why couldn’t he say that before when we ordered drinks I don’t know, he did the exact same thing to the customers sat beside us.nThe men’s toilets only had one working toilet which had a broken lock.nAll in all, I love Corbridge and the country vibe but this place really needs updating.nWe won’t be back.nOn a positive note we went to the Golden Lion afterwards and that was absolutely amazing

I live in the same village so I can't rate the rooms as never used them. Location is brilliant, right next to Corbridge railway station. Very nicely done out, cosy and warm in winter with loads of outside space. Draught handpull guest ales at under £4 a pint. Dog friendly with free homemade dog biscuits.
