I visited this shop to sell a phone on New year's Eve, & my treatment from the person who served me was absolutely, & inexplicably ? atrocious !. He was extremely bad mannered & unprofessional, & somehow managed to conduct the whole transaction without making eye contact once, & looking down at the counter like a sulky kid ?. I've always found the Staff in the Blackburn branch of cex to be excellent !. But this could not have been more the opposite !. It's the most awfully bad & shoddy service I have ever had !. I have no idea why someone working in a shop would wish to talk to a customer bordering on hostile, & like it's a chore for them to serve you at all ?. It's like they WANT to drive all their business away & shut down !?.

Store owner doesn't have a clue what he's doing or talking about apparently you can make a PC bios tell you what ever model cpu you want it to and not the current one glad I don't have a masters in computer science...... :/

Do not sell high value items here, they hold on to your money and take longer than necessary to test equipment. I can’t comment on buying there other than that one male member of staff is particularly unpleasant to deal with.

impossible to speak to the store to check stock / reserve an item before setting off on a long journey. Below expectations. Will just have to hope the item is there when I arrive.

Very poor service.. beware if you purchase an item they will only refund back to store gift card not as you paid. Once they have your money they don't like giving it back.

Normally I've never had a problem with cex however the cex in Blackburn is a different case. I've bought 2 items from this site, an apple pencil and a drawing tablet. I presume everything to be working as for cex to accept items they need to be working and have everything that comes with it. Well for Blackburn apparently that's not the case, the apple pencil didn't even come in a box or with the adapter to charger and it wasn't able to connect to my ipad and the drawing tablet was just not working full stop. £134 I had to get refunded at a different cex site and what a total waste of my money and time.

Definitely the go to shop in Blackburn from gaming consoles and games or cameras and accessories with always a good bargain up for grabs.

Poor service, long unessersery que,s and poor payment system, wont bother in future

Great variety of old and retro games at cheap prices, also sell  second hand items including bikes and guitars but don't pay you much for items you sell

I haven't been in for a while but I love cheap dvds. I have ordered stuff online and it's arrived really quickly. Decent service.
