Recommend to come here early. The pastries are sold out quickly! I had to come again another day since my first visit was quite late, and it was definitely worth it! The lentil&pumpkin soup was really delicious, especially with their breads! I highly recommend it. Morning bun was good also. Plus the staffs are so nice and friendly! Had a pleasant time here
One of the best sandwiches in East London! We went there for a Friday lunch and it was not as packed as on the weekend. They only have tables outside to dine in, however it's only for takeaway, so no table service. Their sourdough was really good, but their focaccia was not bad at all. We tried the grilled veggies sandwich and the meatball sandwich. Even though we've been here several times, their sandwiches were still mind blowing. They change the menu seasonally, which makes it more interesting. They have plenty of options for vegetarians or vegan sandwiches too. Totally recommended!
Have visited multiple times, including morning for breakfast, midday for coffee/pastry, evening for pizza. Overall, the quality is quite good, especially the breads and pastries. We recently went for pizza. The dough was outstanding and the tomato sauce was good. Couldn’t get a good read on the mozzarella because there really was not very much on the pizza. To be honest they could do with a bit more sauce as well. The service ranges from quite friendly and attentive to a bit aloof. I’ll certainly keep coming back. I’m curious to see if there’s any variation with the pizza. I would recommend a visit.
We had been in the other branch of the Dusty Knuckle and the sausage roll was fantastic! Therefore we decided to visit here again to eat brunch! As we arrived too early we couldn’t eat lunch menu. Instead, we had the sausage rolls again and it didn’t disappoint us! The bread was very crispy and the sausage was moist and chewy! However, their coffee wasn’t that great! We felt coffee of the other branch was better. Coffee was too sour and bitter. I guess it must be the temperature of the water or timing of brewing.
Best bakery in London. Rapidly changing menu with various goodies such as toasties, sausage rolls, heaps of cinamon treats. Incredible coffee too, very consistent quality. Would recommend any day of the week, especially when you're a bit dusty post gig. Get in early to beat the lines and get the best seats in the courtyard!
Dusty Knuckle is an excellent bakery, especially for their sourdough breads and other savory baked goods. They supply a large number of brunch restaurants with bread so they know their bread. Come over for your weekly sourdough stock and for excellent coffee.
Very good bakery they do amazing coffee and have good pastries selection which most taste delicious. There date and cardamom bun is very delicious. Their baguette and sourdough are good as well. The outside sitting area is really nice and staff always very friendly.
Great atmosphere and tasty food! Really nice area with some space to sit in and out, nearby a brewery and restaurant! A bit hidden to find , but a really pleasant surprise! Great coffee and bread based sandwich that we tried! Really welcoming staff! Gets busy, and might be a bit pricey for frequent visits
The best sandwiches ever - they have a great vegan option that's packed with flavour. The menu changes every time as they use local ingredients. Thwy bake their bread in house. The sandwich is equivalent to 2 meals and its worth the queue!
Fab place to go for lunch. We had a lovely vegan Christmas sandwich - stuffed with lovely vegetables and sauces. And also a massive sticky bun and cake. There wasn’t many cakes left when we got there at 2pm and when we asked they said we would need to get there earlier to pick from the wider selection. We’ll be going there early very soon as what we had was lovely and can’t wait to try more of their pastries. Only things I’d say was that it was freezing inside and the toilet was out of order.
