Great as always, not been here for a while but can fault nothing. Cooked to perfection and presented well. All clean and tidy plus staff go out of their way to ask if everything was ok.
We've not been for carvery for a long time so decided to treat family, all requirements met for booking made carvery was lovely. Roast potatoes were slightly dry but this didn't put us off. The only let down was we ordered a kids margarita pizza that took a considerable amount of time the chef shouted for staff to pick up and no response after few minutes my husband got up and went and got the food as he asked if it was kids pizza. We did notice the staff was busy with orders and slow getting them out this is why 5 stars not given. Other than that the staff are very friendly and polite, when I asked for dust pan and brush they were straight to cleaning up the mess my baby did or asking for extra spoon wasn't any trouble at all. Just a few tweaks nothing to put us off visiting again.
Just called this lunchtime with the wife for a carvery, queued up and got served. Took our drinks to our table and waited while the queue had gone down, only 3 people in front of us but the carver took an age to cut the roasts. Before he got to us, he kept disappearing in the back for whatever and proceeded to carve at a snails pace on his return. He could have either needed a hand or retraining to speed things up as by the time I got served there must have been about 10 more people waiting in the queue. The meal itself was lovely and everything was just nice, we really enjoyed it, just that my wife is disabled and was struggling to stand for the time he took to eventually get to us. Would call again and hopefully drop on someone who is more up to speed.
Food was decent...eventually. The chef had 3 attempts frying the fish cos they kept breaking it and didn't want to present a plate of bits which is fair enough. Mildly annoying though as my companion had eaten their meal before mine even arrived at the table. The staff were very apologetic and gave us free desserts which was nice.
Lovely friendly greetings from the morning staff and are understanding of allergies. Great food at awesome prices, definitely somewhere to take the kids, they have a sundae bar in the evenings. Breakfast was delicious.
Not a bad size pub with wheelchair access Friendly staff Had the carvery which looked lovely but the meat was very dry ,Yorkshire puddings were rock hard and so was the stuffing You can't really put much veg on as the heat lamps are so hot its difficult to hold the spoons which are very hot too. With the heat lamps being on it has also dried out the veg.
Had our daughter's 18th family meal here, there was 15 of us in total. Food was freshly cooked and very enjoyable. Lots of choice on menu, even catered for fussy eaters! Pub was clean and had a nice environment. The staff very helpful and friendly. Would return again and definitely recommend to others.

Christmas day dinner, was absolutely amazing. The food was hot, you were ready for starters, they came. Drinks service at table. The staff, well done to the team you were truly fantastic
Been here quite a few times as a large group. Always been good meals definitely recommend. Has something for everyone.
