The dotted note was the most family friendly place I've ever visited. It was a small cafe but they couldn't do enough for you especially your kids. It was always full of mummys and breast feeding was encouraged. My wife visited regularly with friends and never had a bad experience. The decor was excellent too with a music theme.  I am leaving this review though because it has very recently closed down for some reason and is now under new owners and named something new so don't expect to see the same place or menu if you live out of town.

Live in Newcastle but stayed in this area for an event I was attending. Came here for breakfast & it was one of the nicest I've ever had!! I had eggs benedict & it was absolutely gorgeous. The staff were also very friendly. Would definitely recommend!!

Just had a wonderful evening with the Groupon voucher.  The food was fresh and tasty, there was so much choice we didnt know what the chose,  The Chicken was so large I was offered a doggy bag,  The Brulee cheesecake was delicious,  The staff a surrounding were great and would greatly recommend this

Decent food but messed up our order. We wanted two ciabattas with egg, bacon and avocado but instead we got two with crispy bacon. Didn't realise until we got the bill. Disappointing

Went for lunch. Good little place with a good menu. Really enjoyed the Salmon. Only down side is lack of good beer selection. But not completely expected in a place like this.

Greeted as always with a friendly smile today. It's always busy in here and a real gem : Family and dog friendly. We had halloumi ciabatta and bacon pancakes: yumbo! Will be back soon no doubt

Food and staff were pleasant and looked after us.  Catered for my little baby and his pram.  Good was excellent and very reasonably priced.  Would certainly go again.

One of the nicest restaurants I've ever been to. The food looked and tasted amazing. A nice relaxing place. Highly recommended!

Went in for breakfast. It was lovely but expensive, couldn't go every week. They brought my daughter 3 some crayons which was nice, but no kids menu was a bit dissapointing.
