Have been a million times. Its as hit in miss as everywhere in the town. Chips can be good depending on their season. None of its healthy but it doesnt advertise that and really what do you expect from a takeaway.
Major problem here is their inability to get you what you ordered. The amount of times i come away with something missing, incorrectly prepared food or getting something i havent even ordered is baffling.

I visited the Dolphin Takeaway for lunch yesterday and rate it 1 star.
Here’s why:
1. The service was slow and impolite. I wasn’t greeted, given any eye contact, a smile or even acknowledged. I had to get the attention of staff talking on their mobile phones drinking tea.
2. I placed my order and paid. I waited about five minutes for my order. I accepted my order and left. Meanwhile The conversation between staff members involved someone’s ill health discussed in detail, and gossip about a young girl on a night out and her exploits
3. The order was incorrect when I got home. Despite ordering clearly and correctly.
4. The food was not fresh, or appetising. Given the fact it was prepared minutes ago, I would expect a high quality and adequate portion size. The portion was smaller than normal & fell well short of past meals from here.
5. Two phone calls later, and an unsympathetic conversation with one of the girls confirmed my meal was incorrect, and There’s nothing they would do to correct it. I should have checked before I left the store.
To improve to 5 stars:
1. Treat customers with respect and offer a warm welcome.
2. Avoid discussing personal matters or gossip without discretion. Wether or not “she was on heat”
3. Ensues orders are accurate, great value for money and freshly prepared.
4. When a complaint or issue is shared with you, acknowledge the problem, apologise for your mistakes, and offer a resolution or refund.
5. Don’t blame customers for your mistakes.
