I go to my sisters in Rainford once a month, the food is normally lovely. Last night the food was terrible. Apparently a new chef , my dish was salmon in sauce, it was put in a what looked like a bowl of soup, the potatoes we're black in side , it was awful. My sister had chicken , it was very dry and the chips were definitely old. My sister and her granddaughter went there the day before and yet again food disgusting. Get the old chef back please. Staff brilliant
Absolutely love this place. If your looking for a good pub meal then this is a great choice. Food is tasty and the pub is traditional inside. Has a good size car park and outside seating area. The lunch menu is incredible value during the day for 2 courses. Just be careful on your starter choice as some are the same size as a main meal!
The food here is great,always piping hot!! We thoroughly enjoy eating at this place,the meal portions are massive. Great service as well. Lovely little village pub, knocks spots off The Golden Lion.

We always go on Christmas Eve to the Derby Arms , the Food Atmosphere and Service is amazing , so thank you to everyone at the Derby Arms for making our family night so special
