Lovely little pub, set in an old cottage with an open fire on during winter, with guest ales changing everyday and nice, homely food being served daily, it's highly recommended. The chicken curry is really superb. Sometimes gets very busy but you can usually find a seat and food service is usually very quick. The waitresses do an excellent job. Wednesday night is folk night and they have a selection of musicians who turn up and just 'jam' and sing through some old folk songs or even some of the ones they've written themselves! Really great stuff!

Another lovely home cooked meal in this pub. Coal fire lovely staff and very reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.

Amazing local with sensational food. Great array of beers on tap and a warm welcome with a roaring fire in the winter. Well worth a trip.
