Went on Saturday for a late breakfast at 11.20. Was busy on arrival but a lot of people were just finishing and half the establishment was empty after 10-15 min. Ordered royal eggs for myself and large breakfast for my other half. Service was quick. Sadly the breakfast was just warm. My poached eggs were hard boiled instead of runny which a poached egg should be. I did show the waitress who seemed she did not know what to say. Sadly we had another appointment and not the time to send things back. It seems every time I go in there something is not right. Not going back for a while. If the food would be good I would love to go. In my opinion it should not matter if you come close to the end of breakfast time. You should still get a decent quality..

Good parking in the evening and weekends. Often cold sitting in the far end of the pub, it is a quieter section but has the access to the smoking area which patrons often leave open for convenience, producing a noticeable draught.

Food is acceptable, but depends on which chef is on, ranging from "This is a really nice meal" to "There's nothing wrong with this meal, but it's really not that remarkable".

Guest ale changes fairly often as is the norm with any Wetherspoon

To be fair it's a nice little pub. It's a bit dated.  I love the idea of local bands go to play there

A typical Wetherspoons. Wasn't too busy as visited on a Sunday evening. The food (fish and chips) was fried too long, lots of greasy crisp batter with hardly any fish, but the barman and waiter was very friendly and helpful.
