We were recommended the Cumberland Inn from Green View Guest House in Silloth and what a cracking pub this is. We all had home made steak pie, chips and veg with a couple of pints of Guinness and some home made apple crumble for desert. It was really good, honest pub food with a couple of decent pints to match, just the job, thank you and highly recommended!
I visited the Cumberland Inn for the first time. I had the traditional Cumberland sausage and chips, it was cooked to perfection. The customer service was wonderful. I will be back for more. Please check the opening times before coming during the week.
We have been here a few times, 4 adults, 3 children & 2 dogs. The food is all home cooked and absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Definitely somewhere I would recommend 100%!!
First time eating here , great food , lovely staff and I have already booked for next week sunday lunch.
Good home cooked food, went here for Sunday lunch and they had a good choice of meat's beef, lamb or pork with all the normal side's all nicely cooked, pudding was plum crumble....yum yum
Its an old school pub, with a separate dining room to the bar. Don't expect a posh event, but very nice hosts and simple tasty not too dear food. Book for food.
Does not look great from the outside but don't let that put you off. Staff very friendly and helpful. We called in on the of chance of a meal, you do need to book. We were accommodated as they had room. Dog friendly but you sit in the games room not a problem for us. Locals drink and eat there so you meet people living in the area. We will definitely stop here again.
Great place, booked at short notice and they accommodated us within an hour. Service was very good, staff extremely friendly. Now the important part, the food was fantastic. 5 mains and 5 desserts and not a bit left on any plate. Definitely going to go again before going home. If you're in the area Definitely make a trip there.
Really enjoyed our visit to the Cumberland Inn, tasty food, great value for money and friendly staff. All 4 of us loved the homemade chips and coleslaw.
Lovely friendly pub, great value pub grub. 6 of us all really happy with our meals, including good vegetarian selection. Really pleasant cosy dining room. Great landlord.
