Lovely quiet holiday park that has wonderful views of the fells to the east, and a couple of minutes from the wonderful beaches near silloth. The couple that look after the site are wonderful, really friendly and helpful.
Great place to stay. Very welcoming and friendly. Close to the beach which the grandkids loved. We will defo be back .
Excellent friendly caravan site - lovely and quiet & right by the fantastic sandy beach. A short walk along the back lane into Silloth & our favourite pub - The Albion Our favourite touring site in Silloth - shame about the windy weather this weekend
Fantastic site due to the people who own it and the regulars that go to it. Spent two nights here car camping. We were right behind the toilets which was handy. Luckily they were clean. Had access to two picnic benches as well as space to pitch our side awning. People were very friendly, even offered us food from a party. Lovely walks down to the beach and into Silloth. Nice and quiet and well run. It may be a tiny bit shabby but it is the people that make it. Probably, one of the best sites we have stayed on for location and general atmosphere. Can’t rate it highly enough. Part of Camping is enjoying nature and the environment you are in and this is why we are awarding it 5 stars!
Just back home from moordale caravan park blitterlees silloth cumbria . Arrived Friday the 19th April after a long 5 hours drive due to traffic on the A66. Should of thought and gone Thursday the 18th April . We know the next time. Owner showed us to our touring pitch. Was a lovely and peaceful site. Short walk to the beach and about 40 minutes walk to silloth. Have a great dog walking area. If you love golf right next to golf course. Toilet / showers very basic. Have a laundry on site and pot washing area. Electric and water available only. Weather was amazing would definetly go back again. Caretaker of the site is really nice. Very helpful.
So quiet and friendly,well worth the visit if you can buy a cheap one.
We own a caravan there its quiet its about 50yds from the beach and golf course very close to the lake district as well some nice beach walks passing a garden centre cafe and some interesting features
Absolutely beautiful quaint little site , very friendly, clean & quiet... arrived in my motorhome and got a lovely pitch , the toilet block was antiquated but clean and showers were hot, Im not bothered about fancy stuff as long as it's functional...great access to sandy downs and beach , probably a 15 minute walk max. Dog friendly and all in all a great stay , I'll definatly be back
Excellent place to stay not to far from silloth Town centre
Peaceful site with small number of tourers allowed among the statics. Right by the golf course and a five minute walk to the dunes and beach.
