was here with friends for a night out and the crown was wonderful. Full of friendly staff and customers. The drinks were reasonably priced and the food was out of this world. This pub never fails with food for me. Always tasty, perfectly cooked and always welcome with my custome. I will definitely come back as I do

Came into this pub as recommended by a friend and wow. We was sat in the comfy area and the service was great. The food was amazing. We ordered the combo sharers for starters and then I had the quinoa chilli from the specials menu, my husband has the cod loin from the specials menu and my children had the pick and mix meals. The food was far better then we had anticipated. The chefs here can really cook some delicious meals. We will definitely be back soon

This pub was recommended to us by our friend who's a London cabbie so he should be reasonably knowledgeable! On the two occasions we've been there as a party of six we've had an excellent experience. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and of good quality. The Crown has thankfully not gone down the path of the 'gastro-pub' fashion - it's still a good old English boozer that serves nice grub. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming - to people as well as dogs 😉 Definitely worth a visit.

Solid food, excellent ale. Always seems to be busy which lends to a good atmosphere. Not too busy though.

I was in the crown on mothers day to have a meal with my wife. I generally have sunday roast here every sunday and each week they get better and better. Hats off to the chefs here who never fail to amaze with such wonderful food. I unfortunately was sat next to the Lorraine Cook family who where nothing but a complaining nuisance from the start. The crown staff did their very best to accommodate this family but nothing they did to accommodate or help would satisfy this family and the roasts where definitely not burnt and decribed by this family. My wife and I had to move tables because they was ruining the environment for everyone else. People need to realise this is a pub and they sell good value pub grub. Reviewers and customers please do not listen to Mrs Cook. The food here is amazing every single time and the staff here will always help you out or replace anything that's not up to your individual standards.
