What a lovely hotel. Absolutely first class so helpful and friendly from the lady behind the bar who gave us bus directions to letting the children feed the fish, to the gentleman first thing in the morning providing me with extra milk for my tea, we only stayed a night but I actually wanted to stay longer. The room was immaculate and every member of staff was so nice and friendly it really felt like a family run business. I really can't raise them enough I will definitely look at going there again. Many thanks to all Rooms: Rooms were nice and clean and comfortable, quite a nice size, easy to use heating system, easy opening windows our room was looking on to car park. Hairdryer and iron and ironing board supplied, nice lotions and potions in the bathroom, nicely labelled please don't take me. Towels were nice spare toilet roll so didn't need to take my spare! Tea sugar coffee hot chocolate in the room and extra coffee machine, I always take my own but a nice selection of teas. Lovely open fire in the bar which was kept topped up by a lovely man. Soft seating to was great. I would be quite happy to go here alone for a break, I have never felt like that before. Nearby activities: 3 bus stops from thorpe park then a short walk lovely chip shop next door. Didn't go any further because of weather but would of had a walk around looked nice and quaint. Food & drinks: Breakfast was nice and served quickly, toast fruit yoghurt also on hand, price included breakfast, lovely bread and butter. Jam marmalade and nuttella, nothing seemed to much for the staff they were lovely. Even offered us plates and cutlery for our take away.
Good hotel for dogs and their owners. You don't have to take any beds or bowels all supplied. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Just could do with a little update . Great location for all attractions or even a work meeting. Parking was good .Rooms: 4/5
Stopped off at The Crown for a quick bite to eat. Lovely layout with open fire. Coffee was lovely and hot, not like most places that serve Luke warm coffee. We had sandwich with fries, was plenty for lunch. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will be back next time we are passing.Service: 5/5
We arrived early, soaking wet and having our hotel reservation canceled, and they absolutely took care of us! We sat down in their cozy pub with a fire and heaps of character, and tucked in to a phenomenal breakfast. The service has been terrific, the room is just perfect for a family, and everything is just high quality from thebeds, to the sheets to the soaps and tea. We stayed at the Hilton last night and there is no comparison--- this place is a gem! Also DEAD silent.
Cannot fault this place, booked as it’s a dog friendly hotel. The rooms are very well presented and immaculately clean. The food was top notch and loads of good beers and real ales on offer and I have to say, the garden area is epic! All staff were extremely friendly and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone! Don’t think just book it!!!!!
We booked a meal for my birthday staff were friendly but almost forgot we were there service was atrocious. The food was ordered on one order but came at all different times we waited an hour and a half for all the food to be completely served Would never use this restaurant again which is a shame because it was brilliant with last owner. Food quality was average
Wonderful hotel right in the heart of Chertsey! Big spacious hotel room, a truly comfortable snug bed, pristine clean rooms with lovely bathroom products, superb breakfast compliments to the chef and friendly helpful staff - Excellent customer service! Well recommended!Rooms: 5/5
What a pleasant surprise! We drove into the gated car park, easily found a parking space and had a pleasant drink in a lovely partially covered courtyard. Good pint of youngs too! Quite a few customers were eating and We'll probably visit again for food. Dog friendly. Would recommend.
Absolutely fab. Spent 2 nights at this hotel, rooms spotlessly clean and spacious. excellent bathroom products. All the staff from reception to cleaning could not do enough for you and alk with a smile. We were 40 minutes too late for breakfast so we asked where we could go and they said "don't worry we'll open back up for you" and it wasn't just coffee and toast they offered us. It was a full English! Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back.
Booked for after our day at Thorpe Park & had a lovely meal with the kids - good menu, something for everyone. Nice Gin menu too & great service - no complaints from us! Thank You
