Nice pub, great staff. Just always seems to take too long for a simple sandwich to be served. Food often takes up to 45 minutes to an hour to get to you even in busy lunchtime periods midweek.

Customer service needs improving, not that the staff are rude more inexperienced. Service was relatively slow when it came to getting our food The food looked great on the plate but that's where the fun stopped. I had a sirloin steak £24 and at least £7 of that was fat, it was probably my fault for asking to have it medium rare as it was more chewy than anything The chips where delicious though. My wife had fish and chips..again, looked great but fell flat....the fish was horrible...over cooked and clearly frozen. Our starters where delicious though and can't recommend the lamb kofte enough. I feel like I over paid for my meal as the quality wasn't there. The décor was warm as I love the oldy pub feel.... It's dog friendly which is always a plus in my books.
