All kept scrupulously clean.Unique to The Croft we have set aside space for a dog walking paddock, recreation field, play barn, outside play area and an undercover picnic area with fridges and freezers."

What a fabulous campsite! From the moment we booked, the level of service and care and attention to our stay, was amazing! Fantastic value, great communication and impeccable facilities: the campsite was pristine - the pitches tidy and well looked after, clean and modern shower/toilet block and a wide range of activities for the kids - including teens. The go carts and dedicated football playing area was a huge hit! As was the BBQ on a Friday night. Maria and Guy couldn't have been more lovely and accommodating and we hope to visit again soon! Thank you for a wonderful stay :
The hosts Maria and Guy have put a lot of effort into this site and it shows! In a great location with access to the Suffolk countryside and coastline. We attended a wedding at the site which was booked in its entirety - this worked out brilliantly over a 4 day period. The food at the barbecue was excellent, as was everything else.
We had a fabulous stay at Croft. The hosts are so welcoming and helpful. The facilities are lovely and clean and warm. The showers were hot. The pitches are flat and spacious. Great to have barns to hang out in if the weather isn't great. So nice to have an area for dogs to be off lead too. Thanks so much for a great stay!Rooms: 5/5
This is the nicest campsite we have ever stayed on and were so impressed with all the facilities. Guy and Maria were outstanding hosts, super friendly, efficient and were always available should you need anything. They had thought of so many extras that made our stay wonderful, including Friday night BBQ, fresh croissants, play area, indoor games for all ages, go karts and hunt the hare competition. The covered area with picnic benches had fridges and freezers that were free to use. The toilet block was immaculate at all times of the day, the underfloor heating and hot water showers were brilliant. We can't wait to return.
Brilliant campsite! We have just stayed for Easter weekend and as novice campervanners it was the perfect campsite. Guy and Maria were very welcoming and offered lots of advice. The BBQ and breakfast were delicious. Facilities were clean and warm. The pitches were a good size and spaced out and we enjoyed table tennis in the barn. Great location easy distance to the Suffolk coast. We would love to return!
This is a great campsite. I’m slightly reluctant to review it, as I would prefer to keep a gem like this to myself. The owners go beyond the norm to ensure a great environment for kids, dogs and adults. The bbq after a long school day and drive there on a Friday night is great, as are the pastries offered in the mornings. You can do it all yourself if you want but we loved the extra convenience and taste provided on this front. Will definitely stay again!

Excellent camp site with very attentive owners. Lots of toys for children to play with and an inside barn. Covered shelter for eating if needed, good BBQ provided, good value for money.Rooms: 5/5
Campsite is fantastic! Maria and Guy are great hosts and couln't be more friendly or helpful. The site is great and as we went midweek there were lots of pitches to choose from. The facilities are perfect with plenty of toilets/showers and underfloor heating. The location is ideal for exploring Suffolk being central and about equally distant from Southwold and Aldeburgh on the coast. If we are lucky enough to get chance to go back to Suffolk we will definitely stay there again.
The Croft Campsite is excellent. The washroom facilities are spotless, with power socket and shelf for your hairdryer. The pitches are attractive level and large. The play options for children are great quality with well thought out unusual features such as go karts and traverse climbing wall. The huge barn offers table tennis, table football and younger children's play. Everything for ease and convenience has been considered: fridge freezers, covered outdoor eating area, firepits and fire wood. Some catering is available on site too. Maria and Guy are super generous with hospitality, information and help wherever possible. The location is perfect for the classics such as Dunwich, Southwold, Aldeburgh. Plenty of pretty villages. Halesworth is very attractive with pedestrian only shopping street and quaint shops. There are many designated quiet lanes fabulous for cycling and walking. Several gastro pubs of various styles and price ranges to choose from. Huntingfield Arms for superb quality food at astoundingly good value prices.
