What a great place to stay for a week. The manor is quiet, the rooms were clean and well kept. The pool clean and heated. The breakfasts were simple and very good, the fruit fresh. The building on the outside was dated and needed some TLC the inside very nice. You can eat in the common room or out on the deck. We saw deer in the yard some mornings or evenings. If we return to the area for vaca we will rebook here.
My husband and I stayed at the B&B this weekend and had a fabulous stay! The staff were warm and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was great. The rooms are very nice and private with their own bathrooms. Definitely a gem of a place. We would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone looking to get away and have a nice place to stayRooms: 5/5
The pictures do not do this beautiful place justice!! I stayed with my husband last week and we loved it! Beautiful clean place. The owner is very welcoming and funny. Breakfast is good! I felt at home! We will definitely come back. I am so happy we stayed here. It is close to everything! I also had a good rest because the bed is super comfortable !!
We really enjoyed this cozy B&B. The room was clean and comfy. They go the extra mile to make sure you have what you need. The location is good. About3 miles to Watkins Glen. Enjoyed the common room and pool table. Breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh fruit. Hope to go back.Rooms: 5/5
We've stayed here twice and never had issues as one reviewer claimed. The owners are polite and the place is clean. It is getting a bit dated and could use some upgrades, but these are cosmetic issues. The views of Lake Seneca are phenomenal! The pool isn't very large for swimming, but if you're up for relaxing with a glass of wine or a chilled beer and watching the sunset, you'd be hard pressed to do worse. Prices are as expected for a B&B in this area.
We stayed for 2 nights. We never made it up for breakfast. Rooms were very clean. Property was very nice. Only reason I didn't give 5 is because the pool had algae in it and no one seemed to be taking care of it.
Take all the comforts of home, combine it with a beautiful lakeside view, and you'll have the Longhouse Manor. Game room is fantastic, the kitchen is spacious and fun to use, and to top it off, the breakfast and room service is phenomenal. The staff is polite, and very considerate. This wonderful getaway, given the more than reasonable price, deserves an easy 5 stars.
It's a nice place. Only 7 rooms spaced out on 3 levels. We had a king bed and a sitting room. B-fast made to order w fruit, bagels, english muffins. Coffee 24/7. Pool table, ping pong table and tv's on 3 levels. Just a 3-4 mile ride north of Watkins Glen, very convenient. Staff is very accommodating. Having said all that .. they need to keep up on maintenance a little better .. I wont go in detail as it didnt ruin our vacation but it needs a little tlc here and there. Overall we had an enjoyable 4 days. We trailered m'cycles.
Very inviting, so clean! Beds very comfortable. Towels so soft! Beautiful view of the lake from the gazebo and pool. Every one is welcoming. Sons enjoying the pool table, ping pong, and swimming pool.
The B&B is amazing. The view of Seneca Lake was great, the room was large, clean, and well equipped, with a small refrigerator and TV. Made new friends at the pool table. Just a great place, and only 2 miles to town.Rooms: 5/5
