I can't say i was overly impressed with the food, mussels that I wanted were off the menu due to season apparently, escargot were out of shell, devoid of flavour or any firmness and the garlic butter was more oily than buttery with lots of green but very little of a garlic kick. Gammon steak was extremely salty, chips okay and my partner enjoyed her Mezze. Good coffee of draught beers, some very friendly service, nice location and building itself plus some fun dancing to a live DJ helped make up for the disappointing food. Possibly an off night as both ourselves and friends that are more regular than we are here have had better. But overall the service, the location and the music will ensure another visit.
Loved the ambience and the food. Would definitely go back. Feel free to take the kids, the park is a lot of fun!
Consistently good food everytime we visit. You cannot visit without trying the Pastasio Souffle for dessert. Compliments to the chef.
Wow! Amazing food. Cooked to perfection! I felt both my meals needed a little seasoning but how it was cooked was outstanding. Staff were also great, polite and attentive. Definitely returned to try out the rest of the menu!
Excellent food. We had Sunday dinner with escargot, duck, roast beef, and sticky toffee pudding. All of the food was delicious! Charming ambiance and good drink as well
I know the whole 'gastropub' thing is pretty old hat by now but The Cricketers really do take it to a whole new level. Service is outstanding, a really good selection of spirits, cocktails and beers from the bar and a glorious menu all set in a beautiful space. We had 3 courses which we really didn't need but it was just impossible to resist. Thank you so much to the team, we will surely be back.

Natalie was a great host of us- knowledgable about the food and a great help in discussing the menu. Service was excellent- efficient and smart. Good great too- we had the chicken roast and pork dish. The roasts a delight
I wanted to come here during the Eat Out To Help Out month but they were fully booked. But I finally made it there today. And I really enjoyed myself. The food and service was really good. During these COVID times I also really appreciated that the staff were properly protected, there was a one way system through the restaurant and tables were very well distanced with screens those that were a bit closer to each other. As mentioned the food was really nice and reasonably priced. We a three course meal and they were all nice. The kids meals were quite good quality as well. I'll definitely be coming back again...often :
Had the most amazing and delightful experience having found this pub by accident. I have eaten in a number of places around Esher and main highstreet Cobham over the years but nothing comes this close to 'gold'. The food was elegant, full of flavour, beautifully presented and served by delightful, naturally friendly staff. I had the escargot and duck to follow and finished with an intersting cheesboard. All supremely excellent. I do not post generally, but this was simply too good not to! Enjoy!
