As you can see from the picture…the portion size of the LARGE chips is abysmal at best for £4! My local chippy does a large portion of chips which feeds 4 of us 2 adults and two kids easily and sometimes there’s left overs for £3! Come on guys…This was just ridiculous! My advice is to check your portion size in your tray before leaving I didn’t. The rest of the meal was fine, fish was nice, gravy and curry sauce was decent so you get 3 stars…just the chips let it down so minus 2
Best fish and chips I’ve had in ages! Service was friendly, efficient and accommodating. Delicious food, will certainly return.
Good fresh fish and perfect chips. Closes at 2 sharp as does the Mexican place down the road.
We had average fish and chips which was expensive. The customer service left a lot to be desired they were quite grumpy ! Asked twice for lots of salt and vinegar but they only put it on the top so none of the chips had any. Honestly when you pay £18 for fish and chips for two, you’d at least expect them to be more accommodating. I left most of it because the chips were tasteless.
Fish cod was lovely... Cooked fresh to order.... Chips slightly undercooked but gravy peas and the tartar sauce were great!! But no Haddock Very nice though staff were very friendly...
Appalling customer service. After waiting for an eternity I got ' buzzed ' in for my overpriced fish and chips and asked by the disheveled woman serving, if it was mine and she said very abruptly ' why, have you got a problem? '......I couldn't believe it and rolled my eyes as I walked away and then she shouted ' why the need for sarcasm! '. I gave her a piece of my mind and shouted she seriously needs to learn about customer service. What a horrible person she must be. On the outside and the inside!
Bought 2 cod and chips, 1 cod was ok, 1 was almost entirely batter. Had to share so that one of us wasn't left with practically zero fish. Chips were decent but really, this wasn't good enough
By a distance the worst fish and chips I’ve ever been served in my entire life. £20 disgusting and now we both feel ill. Abysmal.
Good fish and chips, usual sea side prices only gave 4 stars because what self respecting chippy doesn't serve battered sausages? I mean you have sausages, I presume you batter the cod yourself, so what's stopping these two things coming together.
Coming from the West Midlands and some amazing fish and chips, this food did not compete at all. We were really disappointed. Chips were sloppy and the batter on the fish was overcooked
