Went to the Crabtree for a catch up with some friends based off a recommendation and was pleasantly surprised. The service was outstanding. Thank you Zack for being a great host ! Also the food was well presented and very tasty indeed with great options for vegans and vegetarians too. I will definitely be back again with my little doggie as I’m dying to try the Sunday roast.
Absolutely the best roast I’ve had! Today was the second time I’ve visited for a roast dinner and it is top notch! The ‘duo’ roast is the one to go for. Lovely seating area out the back of the pub. Will be my go to for a Sunday roast now!
Gorgeous pub with a really cosy atmosphere, the food was great and the staff were super friendly!! Drinks are also reasonably priced, we will definitely be returning!
They don't take cash, unless you give exact change. I rounded up and paid cash. The decent barman actually tried to give me change but his colleague over ruled him - so I didn't get my change. It's a typical gastro pub - a restaurant in a former pub- same paint, same furniture, same lights you see everywhere.
Very very bad, low quality food, ordered a cheese burger, the meat is very low quality and the cheese was disgusting. The chicken wings were also horrid. There are Michelin star squares from previous years on the outside, they are so far from this they need to take them down. I spent over £20 and all I ate were the chips. Avoid!
