It feels like stepping back in time, yet it’s full of life and friendly people.nnThe market is right in the city centre, so it’s easy to visit after exploring the colleges or before a walk along the High Street. Prices are reasonable, and it’s a great spot for a quick coffee or a relaxed lunch.nnIf you want to experience the real Oxford, not just the tourist sights, the Covered Market is absolutely worth a visit!
Visited on the 31st December. Many places to eat and buy from independent business. Food, handmade ornaments, desserts, etc. Despite the narrow paths, it looked family friendly as there were communal tables and seats to use. The toilets are free and located outdoors, not inside. It isn't a big market but there're lots of business to see
The Covered Market in Oxford is such a charming place! I loved exploring all the little shops, cafes, and local stalls. There’s a great mix of traditional and modern spot perfect for grabbing a coffee, buying fresh food, or picking up unique gifts. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Oxford!
Such a beautiful market for food, coffee and snacks as well as touristy Knick knacks and some fresh produce. Had one of the best coffees in the uk I’ve ever had.
