I visited this store a few days before and came again today one of the staff members was awful she had an accent not sure on her name however I wanted to use my staff discount and she started asking for so many documents I showed her my payslip date and she started touching my phone without my permission and then started asking for any documents which is not needed as long as you have an updated payslip and your staff ID! And she was really pushy with some of the things when I asked about price only. The rest of the staff were really helpful and nice.
Have been to this store numerous times and always found the staff helpful and polite until today a new member of staff a bloke in there not seen him there before so rude ! Even started talking to other team member about customers. I left without buying anytime.
I loved the staff, Zac came into my rescue, helped me select a great foundation and all the things I need. Very very helpful. Loved his attitude and approach. Will visit again for more purchase.
Visited this Sunday, the store was extremely busy and I was very happy browsing but a lovely lady popped over to check if I needed any help. Very nice staff.
It was nice shop. Smells very posh and looks very posh. Price is posh too I am sure all ladies love the place. Major brands'cosmetics and skincare products. It was very busy as we went on Saturday. Customer service is ok. I found a lovely perfume. Jo Malone, that went on my next shopping list! It's a lovely shop.
I went into the shop alone having left my husband and children outside with the shopping and pushchair. I was ignored until one woman walked past me and asked if I was OK while looking at me like I was a criminal and then walked over to security and loudly asked them to continue to watch me and follow me around. I had only been there 2 minutes and was just trying to pick a foundation colour. Ive never been so embarrassed! I had things I had gone specifically to Portsmouth to get from them but left the shop with nothing. Every other store was lovely.
Nice enough, relatively cheap I guess, weird that the staff were stood around chatting, blocking up the middle aisle completely while complaining about their bonuses… practically stopping people from buying things…
Absolutely amazing service this afternoon on New Year’s Day at midday, the three members of staff working guided me on the best skin care as a nurse, also one guided me on my make up with the mask ! While the other looked out back for his favourite product which would suit me ! My skin has been a massive embarrassment to me lately and it took me a lot of confidence to even ask for help! The staff made me feel so much better thank you!
All I can say is that you have a blonde large girl in your store that has no idea regarding customer service.Just an awful awful attitude! I left the shop in disgust & have never been spoken too or treated like that before....ever! I don't ever complain but her service was so patronising that she has pushed me to write this. By the looks of it you may want to employ people who actually want to make a customers experience pleasant as they will then spend money not run a mile! Looking at other reviews on your Portsmouth store your staff do this quite often!
Tuesday, 29th June - about 1.30pm A good choice of products but let down by an uncomfortable atmosphere and an officious member of staff who made me feel that I was doing something wrong by entering her domain. I did buy something but even that wasn’t a good experience as said member of staff barked her orders whilst I paid about no returning of purchases once I’d left the store. Fair enough but there is a way of saying it without making me feel like a criminal. There was absolutely no warmth or being made to feel valued. I appreciate people have bad days but I think that she is probably always like that. What a contrast to the other stores I went in L’Occitane, Kate Spade and Radley. There was no greeting, no smile, nothing and customers were just in the way and making a mess. She needs to learn about good customer service and I don’t mean over the top customer service, just a friendly smile and hello as I felt like I was being a nuisance to her. It puts me off going in there again.
