A modern community pub. A cask free zone. Jolly helpful staff, happy to get you drinking. Music from the 80s and 90s to keep you company. This is a very lively and friendly place. Good to stop for a pint. It is not quiet here. You have been told.
Actually attended for a wake after the funeral. The landlord and staff were lovely, couldn't have been more helpful. Food was excellent and they very kindly provided gluten free food for me & my daughters for which we were very grateful. Would definitely return if in the area.Food: 5/5
This is a local bar/pub. All nice local friendly local people and staff. Plus’s has the best Thai food this side of the river!!! 10/10 Can get lively here on the weekends.

I like it here. Staff always know what I'm drinking. As a local I have no idea name's of anyone BUT they're really nice, fun atmosphere, cool look inside and feels like I'm in a better version of Eastenders. Currently someone knows uncle of Pimplico Plummers!!
Nice pub. Liked the concert posters and decor. Gives the pub a kind of theme, but I have my doubts that the pub play any of that music they have posted on the walls or have any themed nights to back it up. Zeppelin, Hendrix, Pink Floyd etc.. Perhaps, I came on a wrong night? But if they do, it's my kind of place!
Seems to be the kind of place locals frequent. I live close by so went one evening and found it to be mostly empty. However, prices were reasonable and staff were friendly. We ordered some food and what I can say is this: not a bad deal, would get again. The meats seem to be frozen, which you would expect given they are not known for food and the prices are inexpensive, so that part is not great. However, the cooking technique seems to be fairly authentic and overall the food was pretty tasty. I’d go again.
