Story

Chris & Anne Taylor are your new hosts at The Cookhouse Cafe , Slaithwaite. We opened on the 6th January 2014 after spending Christmas and New Year giving the cafe a fresh new look which we hope will appeal to regular customers and new customers alike. So far we've had lots of positive comments on the new look and the high standard of cleanliness we have achieved in all areas. We aim for a friendly, welcoming place, where the food is good and the prices reasonable. Listening to what our customers want and always aiming to meet their needs, we would appreciate your feedback in order to improve wherever we can. We are new to the cafe business and striving to do the best we can to make the Cookhouse Cafe the best place to visit locally for good food and friendly service.

The Cookhouse has long been known for it's excellent all day breakfasts and we are carrying on the tradition as well as adding hearty home cooked lunches and puddings, using high quality produce from award winning local suppliers. We also do an extensive menu of light meals, snacks and drinks. All available to eat in or take away.....something to suit everyone we hope.
