My daughter took me for late lunch on Saturday. It was my first visit. Front of House friendly & welcoming as well as the waiter. We were early but seated after 5 minutes. We had Tempura Prawns & Galic Prawns served with beautiful bread. Good size portions. Food had flavour and sauces. I had Prawns Lobster with Salad & Fries. My God, how big a portion. This was to die for. Scrumptious also the sauce. My daughter had a steak sandwich. She didn't really enjoy this much commenting it was much nicer last time she ate there. However, we had a great time. We were drinking wine & cocktails. We went up to the Rooftop. Could have done with heaters on, but I suppose we should have asked! We will be back most definitely.
I visited on Friday afternoon 12th July it was my first visit, I wasn’t disappointed: The sharing food platter was delicious, along with the other starter dishes, olives, pork pieces, fries etc….. The taste & presentation was 5 stars! The service was 5 stars! Will definitely be eating here again…. Only one negative, when I went to pay the bill, It was all ready for me to tap my card etc…. I said: I’d like to add on a tip and was wondering where I should add it? It was already added when the bill was presented? I personally would have liked to be informed first as I’d not seen anything on the menu that 10% would automatically be added: I didn’t mind paying as the food/service were worth it, however, I would have preferred be told that they had already added the tip!
- The staff really looked after us, kept checking in and making sure we had everything we needed - plus so chilled and happy to help with accommodating our large group. - Food was lovely, we all ordered the veggie roasts which were great sizes and then shared an incredible dessert! - Very good Coffee as well!!
All good, just watch out for that 12% service charge automatically added. It's at bottom of the menu.Food: 4/5
Great place a for a Sunday roast with lovely friendly service. Food was very good and reasonably priced. One of the best in Altrincham.
I visited The Con Club with my husband and my 4 year old son. All the staff were very helpful and super friendly. They interacted with my son and the whole experience was enjoyable. The food was great and came out really fast too. Lovely vibe inside and relaxing. Thank you to management who trained their staff so well, you're doing a great job Kid-friendliness: They staff are very friendly with kids and interacted with my son. My son did stay on his phone majority of the time. Im not sure if they had any colouring in items for kids, I didn't ask.
Very nice place if you want to enjoy anything from breakfast, lunch or dinner meals to just cocktails. I went for lunch and had a few starters plus a delicious Salt & Pepper Tofu with crispy noodles and vermicelli. The restaurant is also very clean and staff very polite. I personally don't like places where there is loud music but I understand it's the norm mainly in these kind of restaurants specialised in cocktails. Despite that , there were few families with children and elderly people who were enjoying having their meals.
Had been to Con Club many many times, love this restaurant and highly recommended. Today, a friend has visited from far far away home town, therefore , brought him to one of the favourite places. Everyone were more than satisfied. Nice staffs, great foods, relax atmosphere. Specially like their Sunday Roast menu.
Had lovely lunch with family yesterday. Food was excellent quality with good selection & generous portions. As it was sunny day a lot of people were sitting outside which worked in my favour as it was not too noisy but not so quiet as to lack atmosphere. I've enjoyed all of my visits here. Special thanks to Kieren, who looked after us really well.
What an amazing dining experience! It was our first visit and definitely won’t be the last. Friendly staff, excellent service and the food was outstanding. The atmosphere was vibrant and fun…can’t wait to come back. 5
