Booked a room for one night and parking whilst away on holiday. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the process could not have been easier. The room was clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making, nice fluffy towels and piping hot shower with on site restaurant for extra convenience. Taxi to and from airport included in the price, which was cheaper than airport parking alone. We went away knowing my car was secure, having heard horror stories of cars being used whilst owners on holiday. Can highly recommend and will definitely be using again, Thank you to all the staff you're a credit to the company.
Best described as "okay" for the price paid but the room is very small. Barely any room to get a suitcase past or next to the bed for storage. Old brown watermark in the bath and dried blood on the outside of the shower curtain, it was at the very most, passable on the basis we had somewhere to sleep and that the bedding was clean. We were offered a new room regarding the blood on the shower curtain but it should have been caught and resolved prior to that.
Awful hotel. Very basic and dated room. 2 single beds pushed together. Very uncomfortable. Taken payment twice. Spoke to reception supervisor 3 times. They are unable / unwilling to refund. Had to put a claim through bank to get money back. Avoid.Rooms: 1/5
Comfortable stay. Nice room, quiet, close to station and town centre. Staff are attentive and friendly. Restaurant is pleasant, but food is quite expensive and often overcooked. Minor improvements could be made; water could be hotter and water pressure could be better. Door did not fully close without pushing/pulling it. These are really just minor annoyances, but not enough to stop me coming back.
The window was broken, so it didn't close. Road noise was too noisy. The room was too hot. Unfortunately, there are no usb sockets in the room. On the plus side. The breakfast was excellent, and the chef made an excellent scrambled egg for me Rooms: In need of an update. Bed far too firm Walkability: The con club was excellent
Brilliant stop over on a fly drive. Comfy rooms and evening restaurant menu. Ask for quiet room or upgrade on arrival. We stayed here the last 10 years, just booked for next year.Rooms: 5/5
The member of staff who checked me in was lovely and the room was clean but that’s where the positivity ends. This was genuinely the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in - I think they might have confused a bed with a dining table. The walls are flimsy so neighbours can be heard. Bathroom very dated and the room was tiny.Rooms: 1/5
Just stayed for the night, room and corridors have a funny smell, decor is dated and tatty and as for the bed, generally do not think I have ever slept on such a hard uncomfortable bed! I honestly considered sleeping in the car. Walls are paper thin, if next door have there tele on you have no chance of sleeping. Extremely poor, will definitely be staying elsewhere next time. Perhaps take some profit from the burgers and invest this in some new mattresses.
All the staff we encountered were very friendly and so helpful. Bar and restaurant areas are really nice. Unfortunately, the rooms really let the hotel down. Our bathroom room 234 is in DESPERATE need of a refurb. It wasn't pleasant at all. Rooms are a good size but yet again, really need an upgrade. We probably wouldn't stay again unless the rooms have an upgrade.
We stayed at this hotel as we were travelling from Manchester Airport in the early hours of the morning. We intended to have an early night but actually had no sleep whatsoever. There was a private event downstairs that was so noisy even on the 3rd floor, we would have had more sleep sleeping above a nightclub. On top of this, children from the event were running up and down the corridors and prank knocking on people’s doors. Last off all, we had a transfer booked for 3am only to find out that it had been incorrectly booked for 3pm making us delayed for the airport. They were helpful with dealing with the transfer issue but that however didn’t solve our lack of sleep.
