I took the wrong exit on my way to State College and stumbled upon this landmark. I was the only one there, so it was nice to enjoy the 93F spring weather while enjoying this. The inside is closed, and there is limited parking. Don't go through the gate. Its private property and parking is for members only. Park is literally on the side as it only takes a maximum of two-three cars. It's a great spot to take loads of photogenic pictures.
Quick but cute stop, not much parking and some road work nearby.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Really enjoyed this little side stop loved this silly giant coffee pot! The history behind it was interesting. A must see if in the area. The drive was a nice breath of fresh air being off the highway. Pennsylvania 1st timer! Also went and seen the giant shoe.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
LOVE IT!!! Roadside America. Located in front of the Bedford Fairgrounds it was moved there from a gas station down the street. It is being restored but you can still visit and look in.
Traveled off the turnpike to see this! Love the quirky story and it was easy to pull into the fairgrounds to park for a few minutes to take a look around. I’m not sure if it’s ever “open” to go inside. The door was locked but there wasn’t much inside anyway. There was a neat mural I forgot to take a photo of on the back wall opposite the door. Check it out if you’re in the area!
Neat place to stop and check out the tourist attraction. I found the history behind it entertaining as well. If passing through, take the 2 minutes to stop and check it out.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Had to stop to check it out while passing through. We will add it to our list of strange and unique objects seen on our US road trip. Perhaps not worth driving hundreds of miles out of the way but worth the visit if you are in the area and enjoy oddities.Visited onWeekdayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
Little building shaped like a coffee pot. Cute, has some history that is interesting. If you are in the area, might be fun to stop by and check out. They don't really do stuff like this much any more and it has a kitchsy, Americana vibe to it.
It’s crazy to see it sitting there on the side of the road!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Although it needs some TLC it did not disappoint. Just one of the many weird thing in America that was worth the detour to stop and experience.
