Come here for expensive low quality food. Had the cut the top of my steak off because it was completely burnt and tasted like charcoal, onions rings were salty and undercooked. The fish and chips tasted gone off. Worst experience I've had!
Came for a birthday meal with the family. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We were looked after by Sophie for the duration of our meal and nothing was too much for her to accommodate our needs. She was helpful, friendly and always had a smile on her face
Really family friendly atmosphere, food was lovely. Told there would be a slight delay on food and so was expecting it which is good customer service. Really easy food and drink ordering using QR code. Really enjoyable experience for my family,
Half a rack of ribs was 3 bones and almost zero meat, grilled flat mushroom was one boiled button mushroom, medium well 8oz rump was a nuked 6 oz lump of gristle. The drink was nice but not something you can really get wrong. 2 stars because the waitress was nice and friendly otherwise zero stars and won't be coming back for food.
We were met with a welcome and given the choice of two tables which were both good. As we had travelled from Kings Lynn and met up with family members from Old Hurst, the waitress was very good and waited to take drinks order whilst some members of the party visited your bathroom. On our return the waitress was soon there to take our drinks order and they were not long in coming and our food order being taken. Everyone was pleased with their food and an enjoyable time was had by all.
Visited for the first time this Sunday. We waited 45 minutes before being served and even then had to go and ask someone to serve us. The drinks were flat and had to be replaced several times. Many items on the menu were not available. Would not recommend or return. Waitresses were lovely but clearly there were not enough of them
The food arrived quicker than expected, which was good. The same can't be said for the quality of the food or the service. I've had more satisfying meals from McDonald's compared to the classic chicken burger, which was basically exactly the same as what is offered at the golden arches except more expensive. But at least I got a plate and cutlery with it which meant my fingers didn't get greasy, so there's that. Grilled cauliflower was ordered as a starter but came as a main by mistake. Upon informing the waiter that it was supposed to be a starter, the food was whisked away without a word and two minutes later three quarters of it had been binned and we got the leftovers. Would have appreciated the waiters owning then chef's mistake and apologising, asking if we wanted it as it came the first time and letting it go, or if we had insisted on it being a starter, taking it back to change. We would have taken it as a main and did say to the waiter as they were walking away... No response. I find it hard to believe they didn't hear what we had said. Very much was not service with a smile at any point.
Cobblestones has a nice atmosphere and reaches all standards. The food that was cooked by Ashley and the kitchen was perfect and just how everyone liked it. The customer service we received from sophie was welcoming and would come back again.
Food was excellent and well priced. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean ,with plenty of space between tables
Not a bad meal, service was good too.
