Had an amazing lunch at this place. Food was incredible, full of flavour and using local ingredients. I was amazed at how inexpensive it was! Service was top notch, with a smile and enthusiasm to actually host you! Décor is unique and an excellent talking point. Need to have lunch with the mother-in-law you don't get on with? Bring them to the Cobb as you will have to put little effort in holding conversation - the surroundings do it all for you! Will definitely return!
We had a lovely family lunch here. The pub is beautiful decorated. The food was yummy we all enjoyed our lunch and bring 6 of us it can be hard to please us. Good service from the team who served us. Certainly somewhere we will return to eat again.
Went with a group of 12 for food and drinks. Atmosphere in the pub was lovely, the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Food was fairly priced and tasted fantastic! A massive thank you for making our final holiday meal so wonderful!
My good lady and I decided to have a trip to Lyme Regis. The sun was out, but it was very chilly. So many people had a takeout and sat around eating their freshly made purchase. Me, nope, I wanted a comfy seat and warmth. The Cobb Arms looked nice and inviting, so in we went. As soon as you walk through the door, you are greeted with a warm and welcoming smile. We sat at our table and chose our meal from a splendid menu. We both chose the Cod Goujons on a salad bed placed on sourdough bread. It was truly delicious. All in all, it was a terrific experience. 1st class customer service, along with superb food.
Had a great fish soup here today - delicious! Sat outside looking out over the sea and Cobb - what more could you ask for? Great location, great food, friendly staff and super dog friendly too.
Lovely friendly staff, very accommodating with our 21 month old grandson. Booster seat provided without asking. The best fish and chips I’ve had in a very long time, absolutely delicious. I don’t write reviews very often but I really felt this is well deserved. Thankyou
Myself and my partner came here for a quick bite to eat. We were shocked with how quick the food was served let alone the quality, all completely fresh. Some of the best food I have ever tasted. The crab was my favourite. ThankyouService: 5/5
Had a very nice lunch, chose a couple of tasty dishes from the specials - the mains choice consisted of some quite plump fillets of plaice, sitting on an unusual mix of salad vegetables. The accompanying chips were a delight. Plus the Palmer's Gold was a great draught beer.
Popped in for some chips and a pint after seeing the queues at the kiosks on the front. Once we'd ordered we sat outside in a small courtyard which was thankfully covered over with an anti seagull net. There was a little confusion when the food arrived but all was sorted fairly quickly and we all enjoyed great tasting chips and a decent pint of Dorset Gold.
The crab Mac and cheese was amazing, but the best part was the sourdough garlic bread it was the best I ever had in a long time. Will stop be here again definitely make reservations if eating lunch around noon on the weekend.
