The Coach House Inn

There has been an upgrade since last here. Comfortable booths down one side with new tables and chairs elsewhere throughout. Staff friendly and interacting. Soup and sandwich lunch very nice, if a tad expensive but then everything is these days. Nice atmosphere to sit and chat.

We went for dinner for 10 of us and everyone enjoyed their meals and that included children. The staff could not do enough for us. There was a big menu - so something for everyone and the choice of beers was good too. We were very happy and would go back.

I popped in here for a few shandy’s on a roasting summers day. The place was very busy and seems very popular. The food coming out the kitchen looked great tempting me to order but time was limited. There is a large car park to park your car. The staff are pleasant and friendly also! I defo will be back to try out the menu for a meal in the future.

Very nice pub , we stayed for one night our room was facing the main road a bit busy but didn't make our night sleepless . The staff couldn't do enough to make our stay any better , the food is good & for a change not out of a freezer 50 miles away if we are every up that way again this will be our choice of places to stay. Looks like a very good golf course across the road as well .

We stayed at the Inn for 2 nights. We had breakfast each morning full Scottish and dinner each evening. The food, the atmosphere, and the staff were all wonderful. Being American, I wanted the experience of staying in rooms over a Pub. It lived up to my expectations.Food: 5/5

We went for lunch ordered 2 cheese burgers and cajun chicken strips , there was definitely no cajun spice on chicken but it was tasty both burgers were very raw in middle , we sent them back to be cooked through , came back slightly better still very pink on one side couldn't eat the pink side , totally understand that you can eat pink meat but when you don't like it pink and have sent it back to be cooked threw ,you don't expect it to come back still pink and not how you've asked and at £15.50 per burger if paying that price I want it cooked to my liking and not the chefs!! There was no offer of a discount even though only half of each of our burgers were eaten , the lady working wasn't the friendliest of people at all the gentleman on the other hand couldn't have been nicer did offer an apology and he was the only reason we left a tip

Food was terrible and tiny portions. The place was empty and it took an age to come. When it did come it was cold. Will never go back. There was 4 adults and two children in our party.Food: 1/5

Mid afternoon, after a walk, the restaurant was quiet, but we were served cocktails and excellent food with good grace and friendly service. Fish and chips were outstanding...

Very hospitable and cosy pub, very friendly service, good veggie choices and great food. Recommended. Vegetarian options: Plenty choices for all courses.
