Nice shop spoiled by the fact it still sells the sun newspaper. I've asked numerous times if they will stop selling it only to be told it's out of their hands.

Always helpful anyway when I go in, but on this particular day (14/6) my friends mum was ill & she fancied a Portuguese tart which I know the Co op in Rainhill make & are lovely. So I rang to check stock as it was late in the day - the person on the phone went & checked but there were none left :( I spoke to Rob who suggested there might be some in the bakery they could cook for me. He double checked & indeed that was the case. I ordered 6 tarts & he said they would be about 25 minutes. So my friend & I set off & sought out Rob when we arrived. They weren't quite ready so we did a shop & when we were ready to go he left them by the till in a tray so they would travel ok. What a guy & my friends mum was made up - they made her day. Thanks to Rob, the baker & everyone @ Co op Rainhill. I will continue to shop there (of course). 👍🏻😁
