Usually fine but past few days they have been cancelling several different delivery orders made on different times and days and picking up the phone only to put down to leave engaged. If they don't wish to take orders then let the app know so people can not waste time waiting for orders to be cancelled and so that they can make other arrangements. It's not about being lazy, it's being disabled and expecting to be able to make an order if apps are saying the store is taking orders for delivery.

Just purchased a breakfast  muffin  from here cost £2.90  I have e never tasted anything as horrible  in my life warm on the edges & cold in the .middle & the muffin was harder than Vinnie Jones.  This is unacceptable get your act together

Just your average Co-op. Kind staff, clean floors, and good parking.

The staff here are very helpful. The shop is clean and tidy and uncluttered and it has an accessible entrance and parking at the rear. The only complaint I have is that they have got rid of all the shopping baskets with wheels which made it easy for me being in a wheelchair! Hopefully they will bring them back.

I notice one of the other reviews says '1 or 2 staff are very hard work'. I fully agree with this, but would actually say it's higher than 1 or 2. On the whole, the staff in this place seem very unhappy, unsmiling, unhelpful, and a couple of them are prone to angry outbursts. Particularly one senior woman who mans the tills and is always looking for an argument, and the manager himself who gets very angry in front of other customers if someone dares to complain. There are a couple of pleasant members of staff in Rainhill Co-op but overall, quite an unenjoyable place to shop.nIf you look at Which? magazine's annual supermarket survey 2023, the Co-op has been rated very poorly, and it's position in the survey reflects that. In fact, it's exactly the same position as the previous 2 years. And it's not hard to see why.
