Cleethorpes Discovery Centre offers a welcoming environment nestled in the beautiful scenery of the lakeside, a perfect place for families to enjoy all year round.

It’s free to enter the centre and enjoy our latest art exhibitions and displays by local talented artists or discover what’s happening out at sea from the ABP Humber Observatory.

Take in the stunning views of the lake whilst dining in our Lakeside Café, or unwind in our sandpit café designed with kids in mind both serving a delicious selection of homemade food and freshly made cakes, we guarantee something for everyone’s budget.

Step outside and admire the stunning lakeside, feed the resident ducks and take to the water on a pedalo or rowing boat. Visit our sandpit and build a sandcastle fit for a king and let the kids run wild on the shipwreck adventure playground, or make a splash at the nearby paddling pool.

Just had coffee on this visit  but have had food too on previous occasions.  Pleasant and helpful staff, good choice of food and drinks at reasonable prices.

Absolutely love this place!  We have a static caravan nearby and walk our energetic dog miles and miles everyday we are in Cleethorpes.  We stop here for a cappuccino and scone everytime! Sitting inside or outside we love the atmosphere. Just amazing. Superb service. Very cozy and homely. Thank you.

Excellent pizza, one of the best. Great selection of beers. Not the cheapest but good quality.

Absolutely beautiful scone and really nice cuppa and latte definitely worth going back and I will be back here soon. 5 stars for service staff food and drink. 5 stars for the scenery too beautiful lovely welcoming people and staff definitely well worth coming here very very nice place great place to eat in take out

We went in to the cafe on Easter Monday. We was told that no seating in front of the bar could be used. But we could sit outside. When asked about ordering we were then told to order at the bar in front of all the seating that was empty. We  asked why we couldn't sit down but was told once again that this seating was not being used today. We couldn't work what the difference was from using the outside seating. Don't think we will be going back again.
