I wouldn't recommend this company at all...Many others no doubt better... They leave you to do most of the work after their initial investigation... Customer Service staff... some who aren't the brightest buttons in the tin to be honest.... when informed that the claimant was in hospital and could any contact be made by letter...they continued to phone....text....and email... Even the day after this information was again highlighted to them. and they had....supposedly made notes .... When they were contacted to try and change some details... again the CS dept were lacking in comprehension and basic intelligence.... Unable it seemed to be able to carry out the simplest of tasks... probably because it wasn't written down in front of them in their 'script'..Wish I had shopped around first that way I would have saved myself the high percentage charged on their fees

These people have been sending mail for the previous owner for at least 2 years. He moved out 3 years ago wihtout leaving a forwarding address. I suspect this is for an unpaid parking ticket which some clever local authority (Slough area) have handed over. But they ignore repeatedly returned mail with NOT AT THIS ADDRESS written all over and just keep on sending me letters which is starting to ANNOY ME. Can I legally just bin it?

If their office were burning down, I'd stoke the flames to make it burn faster. This is a scam company, that charge ~40% of your money to make a claim you can easily do yourself. Don't use them, and certainly don't give them your phone number, you will regret it!

I've had 3 successful claims through Claims Guys and the process has been relatively painless.
The reason they get 3 stars only is the manner in which they chase their fees. Basically you'll be hassled 2-3 times a day from the minute the bank sends details of your payout.
Problem there is the cheque payout normally doesn't follow for at least 2 full weeks after that letter is received and at 30% + VAT their fee can be reasonably substantial.
For me the fee should become payable once you've received your payout, not before.

Do not use. We are having to chase our own claims to PPI when that is supposedly the role of The Claims Guys who are now charging over 30% for their 'work' done on the case. They are also demanding payment for money that has not been received. We are having to chase each of the claims ourselves and attempt to prove that we have not received any money that they are claiming we have. Not worth the time that has been wasted - would not recommend to anyone.
