I had my first visit to the City Ground to watch the match against Crystal Palace. Having lived in Nottingham for over 10 years it was about time. The match was at night, and the stadium was lit up. As I approached from West Bridgeford Bridge, I got excited to watch the match. There were plenty food stands outside the stadium. The fan zone was fun. The new hospitality area next to the river looked good. There are a few bars in the stands where drinks can be purchased. The seating areas are OK and the views of the pitch are great. There is definitely a family atmosphere in the stadium, and the fans were very passionate, vocal, and supporting. Forest won the match and I had a great time. Can't wait for my next visit.
Always enjoy coming to the city ground for 3 points. Not a bad ground to go to as an away fan, the county ground across the road has the away fan zone then a short 10/15 minutes walk to the away end. Only down side to forest away is the expensive poor choice on the concourse!! Apart from that great stadium.
Friendly stewards, reasonably priced booze and they kindly gifted us three pints as well.
Iconic venue. Top atmosphere. It has a certain character about it & there’s nowhere else like it, unique. Home of The Reds.
Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the City Ground for an FA cup tie. Surprisingly a sell out in an entertaining 2-2 draw. Easy to get to via public transport. Oozes character being an older ground. With the towering Trent End stand in front of us along with the older Peter Taylor stand to the left. Not the greatest leg room which I'd to be expected from an older ground and can be hard to navigate your way out especially when busy. Highly recommend a visit and the home fans of Mull of Kintyre was enjoyable.
Was a very fun match experience at the stadium. The space is mostly easy to navigate just a hard time finding your gates and some are on the other side with a metal gate in the middle. Otherwise the seats were easy to find and the staff were friendly.
Came here to watch Fulham. Nice stadium and good atmosphere
Saw Take That here on Saturday. Not the best set up for a concert. Was good but sound didn't seem to carry as well with stage at the side rather then the end.
Cool stadium! I like the extra tall stands on the sides.
Forest are my team so naturally I'm going to give it five stars. Seriously though, how many other football grounds can boast a commanding view over the river? This is what you might class as a traditional football ground with four differently styled stands and it will be an even greater spectacle once the new main stand gets rebuilt and the Bridgford End is two-tier right the way across.
