What a fabulous show Disney on Ice is. Loads of kiddies and adults dressed up, the show was spectacular and the children loved it.Visited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYes
Always come here when we come to Nottingham. £12 for the session. There’s different times each day so look online for that. Can book online to “fast track” or just pay there. Skate hire is included in the price and you can hire aids for £5 if needed according to different heights. Can also bring your own skates. Cold if you’re observing duh but when skating you do warm up
SubZero Restaurant Review: A Slushy Saga on a Saturday at the National Ice Centre Ah, the joys of children's birthday parties—where chaos is just another word for fun. We recently attended one at the National Ice Centre, and, like any good parent, I was prepared for the usual mayhem. But what I didn’t anticipate was the "Slushy Wars" that would erupt thanks to an admittedly dodgy slushy machine. Enter Kelly, the absolute legend behind the counter at SubZero. She was nothing short of a saint when it came to dealing with our rather, shall we say, heated situation. You see, the slushy machine was on the fritz, and only one measly glass of the frosty beverage could be coaxed from it. Initially, my daughter in an uncharacteristic act of generosity agreed to share it with her younger brother. However, this truce lasted about as long as a snowflake in the sun. In no time at all, my daughter began her own personal "slushy rationing" system, measuring each sip with the precision of an experienced negotiator. And it was at this moment that I felt the stirring of what could only be described as a Cold War in the making. Fists were clenched, tempers were rising, and I was on the verge of calling for a ceasefire when I returned to the counter. Now, Kelly could have easily thrown her hands up in defeat, suggesting we try something else or just get on with it. But no. Like a true diplomat, she went above and beyond, putting in the effort to sort us out with another slushy, saving the day and preventing what could have escalated into a full-blown family feud. Thanks to her patience and unflappable attitude, the party continued without incident, and my children somewhat reluctantly managed to reach a truce over the remaining slushy. No casualties, no tantrums—just another day in the life of a parent, thanks to Kelly's superb customer service. If you're at the National Ice Centre and in need of some refreshments, just hope Kelly’s on shift. She’s practically an honorary member of the UN Peacekeeping Forces at this point.
Expensive, for food. EM-con excellent lots of celebs and franchise. I personally don't like gigs in the large sheds, but find it good for exabitions.Visited onWeekend
I loved the experience.. I believe it was an affordable amount.. You only pay once at the entrance, they will provide you with shoes of your size they don't do half sizes so I'd go half a size smaller! You can get the sliding aids you pay a little extra for this item and voila good to go! It was way too busy when I visited. Due to an ongoing learning session, coaches refused us to enter the rink! but once the lessons were over, the place was crowded!
My daughter has lessons here weekly. They do a great breakfast deal for £4.50. An egg & sausage or egg and bacon muffin with or without a slice of cheese, a hash brown, and any hot drink. The ice skating rink is big, and they have a section in the middle for toddlers. I would highly recommend Nottingham Ice Skating rink.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Fantastic venue in a fantastic city. Easy walk from the city centre. Staff are incredibly helpful. The bands: Europe.... Brilliant. Foreigner..... F#*king Amazing. Whitesnake.... What a band and what a fantastic show. Never seen so many old rockers on one place. Good job there are plenty of toilets. Tour tee shirts £30.
Went to go watch the panthers twice! Great games, very busy but yet it was very clean. Not a very long wait to get in quick bag check and quick ticket scanVisited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYes
Tough one as I love the place, £42 for a family of 4 what's not too bad however couldn't use BLC to make it half of that at the door. Policy changed in February. £3 for a bottle of water and £4 for a tin of monster. To think we are in a middle of a recession, God help families who can't afford it as they just wouldn't be able too. Last time we came it wasn't this expensive. I understand cost increases however we sadly feel robbed. No fault with the staff or facilities but maybe a bit of realism and common sense wouldn't go a miss. This is by far the quietest I've seen it in the school holidays and I'm not surprised.
Nice day out, would be great for kids. You get a lot of time to skate in your booking 2 hours. Ice skates provided were damp unfortunately so a bit uncomfortable. Was quite busy on a Sunday morning, so a wait while queuing and lots of people on the ice.Wait time10–30 minReservation recommendedNo
