Story

At The Churchill Tavern we offer some of the best food in Ramsgate, our head chef Sarah Barrett trained at The Savoy and has many years under her belt as excellent head chef.
Also at The Churchill Tavern we specialise in real ales, we have up to 6 real ales at any one time, using local breweries such as Gadds and Whitstable, and we also stock beers from award winning breweries such as Dark Star, Weltons and Hopdaemon.
Every week we have live music in the pub, we also have a function room available for parties, birthdays and functions.

Good local food and service in restaurant area. Kent ales sold over the bar along with all normal pub beverages. Also some really good live music over the weekends. Private downstairs function room available. Overall a good 4/5. 👍

Great atmosphere, suitable for a quick drink or a longer visit. Lots of different nooks and crannies to choose from. Play pool without worrying about passerbys. Sit secluded from the rest of the bar or choose a table nearer the fellow patrons. Choose from mainstream drinks or something a bit more local great choices available at the bar.

1st visit to their quiz night. Great value at £2 a head which included the quiz/a tasty snack/game head and fails. The winner are congratulated but the prize money goes to a randomly selected team. Friendly atmosphere, experienced quiz masyer, good mix of questions, no need to book and no set team size so couples/family/friends groups it all works. Good evening out every Monday starting at 8pm.

The wife and I are in the process of buying a spot in Ramsgate so very chuffed to find this gem of a pub. Very nice inside. Local artists on the wall and pleasant atmosphere. Sun streaming through the big corner room windows probably didn't hurt. White bait portion size immense but the actual fishies probably a tad too big (freaked the Mrs out a bit). Sunday lamb roast bang on. Lots of tasty veg. Crucially not overcooked. Lamb yum with good gravy portion. Defos go back.
