The food is average pub grub, however staff were super friendly and attentive. I did enjoy the wine, excellent glassware which in my opinion improves the drinking experience. Our daughter really enjoyed playing in the whacky warehouse and I love how you can eat inside the play area. I had no problems paying for the playtime it kept her entertained and allowed us to relax.
Stay over night at the Churchill was a very pleasant experience. The hotel side was spotless new smell very comfy rooms absolutely no complaints , food side was just perfect sat outside enjoying good food and good beer And the staff went beyond to serve you!
A nice warm friendly pub with generally good food and pleasant staff. It has plenty of parking and is convenient for the Swindon outlet village, if you are having a day out.
Visited this pub as it has rooms just next door ! Which in itself is very good ! Not too busy, seemed a little short staffed but we were well looked after. Out of two visits, we had very good food with only one terrible plate of potatoesside, which they immediately took away and refunded; I think it was just an oversight. Everything else beautifully presented and tasty ! We would eat here again, definitely !!
Food was a little over priced, but was nice enough. The children's indoor play area is brilliant my 2 had lots of fun, the 1 downside to it was the air-conditioning could be set a little lower near the dinning tables as it did feel a little cold down that end. The toilets in that area was out of order so when my daughter who was having so much fun needed a toilet it was a mad dash to the other side of the restaurant and bar to the nearest clearly signed toilets. Staff was friendly enough and the whole site was nice and clean.
Thank you to all your staff for giving us a day to remember, providing a lovely lunch for our party of 26 including our son, daughter in law and their 5 children from America. The food was excellent as was the organisation. It was the perfect venue for what we wanted. Definitely to be recommended and the staff were all so cheerful and friendly in difficult circumstances. Thank you!
We have had a lovely stay here, made superb by the staff. Pub was very good, very nice and fresh food, continental breakfast very fresh. The staff in the accommodation are amazing, especially Deborah/deb/Debbie, she went over and above what we would have expected. She is a credit to your company. If you have a "staff of the month" then we nominate her for outstanding customer service, service with a smile at whatever time of the night and helpfulness throughout no matter what we asked. She was knowledgeable about the local area, and showed a real passion for her job. Thank you so much Deb, you made our stay. We will definitely be back, much better than our normal hotel brands we stay with. Thank you once again, Karoline and Abigail. Xx
We went for lunch yesterday 07/01/23my steak was lovely...however the 2 eggs in the top were rubbery and way over cooked, my partners burger was cremated! The chips were also way over cooked. Not a great experience, we didn't finish our food. I'm glad I had a discount, I wouldn't have paid full price for the meals. Our waitress Chloe was superb! Nothing was too much trouble, I hope she gets the recognition she greatly deserves.
Perfect for families; main pub is nice and calm and quiet because noisy children are cleverly tucked away near a great soft play area. £5 for 90min play per child, and adults can order food and drink from within the play area. Food tasted great too. I'm already looking forward to my return visit. Parking was plentiful and there's even an attached hotel.
Awful Restaurant. We attended on a Sunday, with a pre booking. We arrived promptly and were sat at our table by a friendly waitress. This is where the positives end. It took over 1/2 an hour for a food order to be taken, in which we had to flag a waitress down as they were pretty much non existent. Then it took another hour for the food to arrive. In-between we were informed some food we had order was now out of stock. The roasts that we ordered were awful. Fatty beef, microwave mash, frozen roast potatoes the only thing that seemed “fresh” were the Yorkshires. The kids large pasta meal wouldn’t of feed my 4 year old, so the 10 year old who had chose it was left hungry. We were then left waiting with no check backs at any point, again had to chase the bill. No apologies, even the supervisor appeared not to care about the clear lack of service and kitchen facility to turn out a very below average meals. It’s a shame as this location is prime off the M4 for our journeys to Wales but we certainly won’t be returning. We’ll stick with the services from now on… AVOID
