Old, traditional pub with very efficient & friendly service. Food was good as well, and the chef was genuinely very sorry & apologetic for forgetting a slice of haloumi on top of my burger. All forgiven, because this is a place with lovely people staff and customers that I am happy to recommend.
The moment we stepped into this pub we felt welcomed. Booked a table for eight of us. Ben the barman was a delight, nothing was too much trouble, and the food was lovely hot and tasty. Will definitely go again. Well done Eddie our American friends enjoyed the evening.
Delicious homemade cake and scones served with good strong coffee. Service on coffee could be quicker as there was a large group of us.
