Had the large fish chips and sausage. The chips were very nice but over coloured, may have been the oil is old which bring me to the fish. It was cooked fresh and was piping hot, but the batter although very crispy was over coloured and didn’t taste great  not like the chips. The sausage was just not the type I like so I can’t pass judgment. The staff are friendly and I believe there is a restaurant there. Not sure I would return but could be a nice place to stop.  7/10

Have been here many times since the early 1990s and can honestly say I've never had a bad fish and chips. Always consistently good and this business is right at the heart of the local community in Long Stratton. Always busy, especially on a Saturday and continues to stand the test of time.  Parking: Good for parking nearby and around the chip shop.

I will firstly say i have over the years very occasionally i have had some of the best chips here but its never ever consistent and todays visit was the last straw i will never use them again i walking in as they opened the door when they opened at 4.30 so you would think they would have some things ready but no, i had to wait while they i later learnt microwaved every last bit of life the pie ever had in it until it was just a congealed mess so i returned that for a refund £4 from the young girl behind the counter who desperately needs to go on a course to learn how to smile The chips and battered sausage didn't look appealing at all the chips looked dirty and some of them were so over done it was ridiculous As a non expert i would guess the chips and sausage were cooked in the same dirty oil I ate 6 or 8 chips, 2 bites of sausage then it all went in the bin

Nice but not amazing. Last had sausage and chips twice for me and the Mrs. Ten qwid, a tad expensive but the sausages are really tasty. Chip portion sizes are a bit stingey. We usually share a portion elsewhere where the value for money is far better. Also, when I stopped the shop was empty, but still had to wait for another sausage then more chips to be cooked, so a speedy pick up I usually seem to miss

Just have a portion of chips with small sausage which was £5.40 and everything was burned specially the chips and was not very nice a toll nothing …..bad experienceFood: 1/5

Called in as we were driving past and had some very tasty cod and chips. Service was good and staff friendly but more importantly the food was really good. Batter on the fish was nice and crisp with a fleshy fillet inside.Food: 5/5

Top quality fish and chips with an utterly market leading gluten free fry on Wednesdays. Can't wait for the restaurant to reopen so we can stop picking up and going to our friends and get piping hot, crispy F&C on site.
