Cheap and cheerful. I'd recommend to anyone who wants tasty food for a good price.
Lovely food and at a good price nice and clean
Yes the place may be old, a little 'run down' looking. But it is clean, the staff are wonderful, the food is spot on, and the specials deals are more than worth the money. I just paid less than £4 for a heaped plate full of chips, a jumbo sausage, curry sauce and a a can of pop. Can't fault the place.
Fabulous homemade food at reasonable prices and the cakes are delicious!
Food is great apart from spam fritters which are nearly see through, shame about the staffs attitude.

Ideal little chippy, busy, seating available and well worth the money as it's soo inexpensive. A little attention to decor would make the place perfect other than that the best traditional chip shop in Ashington
The food is brilliant and the staff lovely. And decor wise it's like being 10 again and that was some 40 years ago!!! Think Formica!! But I love it.
Nice enough food but the older woman who works in never smiles or says please or Thank you. Makes you feel like you shouldn't be in there. Will be going elsewhere after today
