Know this pub for over 20 years, & frequently stayed there. Never flash, but comfortable. Last regular time 7 years ago. Now, pass by occasionally. Have now extended the outdoor area & added more rooms - not tried. The welcome & bar the same. Good basic pub food & well kept ales.

Double room very clean and comfortable but take care not the bang your head on the low beams if your tall! Excellent freshly made breakfast. Thanks again.Rooms: 4/5

Shocked and appalled!!! The guy said paella on the specials. His lieing misses said it’s all home made as well as the tomato soup. Turns out she is an extremely good lier! 100% Heinz tomato soup! The paella was definitely a frozen bag of tasteless piella from Aldi or Lidl!!!  Do not eat here she will even go to the depth of making up a story of how she made it which is not even on par to how to make that.  Dirty dirty dirty could even roast the frozen chicken taste

This place is awesome and refreshing. I had a lovely rest here. The owners/staff are awesome. Lovely breakfast and help where needed. Thank you for looking after me. The bed blanket and pillow are quality.  Sorry i couldnt stay for my last night that was booked but my new place was ready.  Thank you for understanding. :-  Very cosy place both pub and room.  Great for its price. :-

Stayed two nights at this b&b, and when I arrived their was not enough mains plugs in the room, only two, one taken up for the TV and the other for the kettle. No side table or side lamp/s.. Also the free WiFi wasn't working, so had to hot spot from my mobile phone using up my data. The only good thing was the full English breakfast, but they did burn my toast.  Won't be staying their AGAIN.

We used the pub for a wake, the staff and management went out their way to accommodate our needs and put on a lovely spread of food. We had use of their function room and the beer garden outside which fortunately we could use as the sun shined for us. Thoroughly recommended.Service: 5/5

Clean and simple, exactly what we needed for staying overnight for a wedding nearby. Would highly recommend for short stays where you're not going to spend time in the room because it is a little tight for space.Rooms: 4/5

We booked the function room for a Wake. The hosts were very accommodating and everything went really well. Delicious assortment of food including Vegan. Thank you so much. Would recommend
