Nice shop but very expensive. We ordered a half truckle of stilton for Christmas and were told it would be around £50-60. When we went to collect it was an eye watering £91! We could have ordered the same thing from the supplier at £52 but thought it would be nice to use the local shop. Just be careful what you order.

If you're looking for a choice of cheese products I'd recommend visiting here. Jamie the shop manager has a real interest in the product, but also knows about the little idiosyncrasies that make the subject interesting. Oh and he also sells Mad Hatter Tea, now that's a PLUS

Actually, not just cheese and wine - so much more. Its one of those little shops where you first get the wonderful smell of cheese, then you spend the next 5-10 minutes exploring the shelves for fascinating jars, boxes and packets. One of Darlington's gems.

Drove there from Middlesbrough in search for a few bottles of proper wine. Knowledgeable and friendly shop assistant, good small shop atmosphere. Fair prices.
