Huge place to buy wines. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have information about the wines you buying and make it easier to choose. They even have a wine club!!

Wanted a half case of punchy, quality red and a bottle of Pol Roger. The guys inside were super helpful especially with recommending the reds. Great knowledge of their stock and very efficient. Even loaded the car for us as we had the little man with us. Parking outside a big help. All the covid safety precautions in place too with limited people inside. My go to for decent vino.

Visit here from time to time. For a novice the selection is far too big to truly understand and take in. I enjoy a good 30 - 40 minutes of browsing. Soaking up the various labels, countries, names and grape varieties. I smile at the staff recommendations and picture them all early morning having a glass or two while the rest of us drink skinny lattes......seriously the staff offer to help, but you know that it’s a bit like choosing a book to read. Sometimes the title grabs your attention, sometimes the cover or label and then quite often you end up choosing a random selection and get great satisfaction when you thoroughly enjoy the chosen book or in this case the wine....bottle by the way not case. The place can often feel disorganised with boxes everywhere and seemingly no merchandising methods, but it kind of works. A 6 bottle purchase to get the ‘better ‘ prices is reasonable. Gone are the days of a 6 bottle minimum. Wine tasting evening are quite enlightening. On one such occasion I came across Chenin Blanc...never looked back. Staff very friendly, car parking a little limited but as yet not had a problem personally.
A vast variety of fine wines to accomadate the pocket. You can also have a sample to taste. Also have Gins Whisky Brandy but inky a small selection. When purchasing a bottle they will print if tasting notes for you to take away with you.
Great selection of wines and spirits but the staff were even better. Knowledgeable helpful and friendly too. Fantastic
Fantastic service for our party and took care of glasses, ice, ice buckets etc all sorted and delivered. Pity they cant look after my hang over too. Thanks majestic.
Used Majestic Wines Darlington as the supplier for my pub, and have to say they were excellent. Friendly staff and excellent customer service. Would recommend to any pub/restaurant who serve quality wines. 5*
