The Cedar Tree is a Christian bookshop. We sell books, CDs, DVDs and gifts! We also have a coffee shop - coffee, cakes, flatbread and soup available.

Story

The Cedar Tree is a café with adjoining Christian book and gift shop located in central Hexham opposite the Sele Park.

The café boasts a range of fresh food, including paninis, toasties, jacket potatoes, wraps, sandwiches, omelettes and soup, as well as delicious homemade scones, cakes and traybakes. You will also find a large range of refreshing teas, warming coffees and tempting hot chocolate.

Come in and relax – we serve you at the table. Meet here with a friend, or enjoy a chat with our warm and welcoming staff and volunteers.

Most of our food has gluten-free, dairy-free and lactose-free options available. We also have lactose-free milk.

In our shop we sell biographies, self-help books, Bibles, concordances and children's books. Books for teenagers include fiction, life application Bibles and devotionals. We also have CDs, a selection of the latest in Christian music, and a variety of other styles. There are DVDs for both adults and children. Veggie Tales is a favourite in our DVD selection!

We sell a wide range of gifts, getting in seasonal gifts several times a year. Our cards are both specific and general to give you more choice.
