The staff know their stuff, and for a relatively small outlet it has all the selection you need. There's an independent bookshop round the corner, if that's what you prefer, nudge nudge.

When you walk in, be careful you don't bump into the back wall because this is the smallest (proper) Waterstones. It may not have the greatest range of books, but I think it has a good selection. If you think the quality of a bookshop at least partly down to its booksellers, I think you'll approve. One thing that I believe I felt was lacking when I was there, were comfortable chairs! One needs a cushioned environment to properly rate the worth of a book.
